The Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) of 2018 enacted funding for time-limited prevention services for mental health, substance abuse and in-home parent skill-based programs for children or youth, providing more resources to help families in crisis stay together.

When we experience strong emotions, our brain sends the signals to get through with the situation by “freezing”, “flying (running away)” and/or “fighting”.
